Workshop Objectives

In this workshop, we will share with participants on the importance of conducting proper financial due diligence before acquisitions. Due diligence is a process to confirm the reliability of the information provided on a target company or business and on which the investment decision is being based. Identifying potential risks and exposures can be time consuming, frustrating and problematic, but failing to do so may have disastrous consequences for the acquiring shareholders.

In this workshop, we will address the issues:
  • Are you buying what you think you are buying?
  • What are the various types of due diligence required?
  • Why financial due diligence is a must before sealing the deal?
  • Are you overpaying the target company?
  • How to determine the fair value of the target company?
