Tien Giang provincial People's Committee announced an official letter No. 1383/UBND-TM on 16th March 2007 on independent audit in the province. Implementing the policy of the provincial People’s Committee, Departments of Finance officially held a conference on 05th April 2007 to deploy independent audit for the Board of Investment Project Management at districts, city, Specific Board Management, Administrative management units and other province-based state authorities.

Since 2007, all the B projects which managed by Project Management board of Tien Giang province have to be audited before submitting to Department of Finance for verification. The independent audit is in order to find out and reform mistakes (with the purpose or not) at the same time to prevent damages in the process of using state budget in the Administrative Management units. In 2007, the province carried out auditing about 20 province-based state authorities which are self-control in finance in accordance with Decree 43/2006/NĐ-CP dated 25th April 2006 and 5 Administrative management units stipulated in Decree 130/2005/NĐ-CP dated 17th October 2005 of the Government. 

In the meeting, with a view of providing full information on independent audit, representatives of VietValues Audit and Consulting (VIETVALUES) were invited by Department of Finances. Afterwards, a representative office will be opened at No. 40 Hung Vuong street, ward 7, Mytho city by VietValues Audit and Consulting (VIETVALUES) in collaration with Consulting-Information and Finance Servives center of Tien Giang province since April 2007. Then, the representative office will receives audit documents of basic construction work and get documents as audit requirements of administrative establishments since May 2007.
