Mr. Tran Khanh Lam

Lam is a founding partner of VIETVALUES  Group.  Lam has more than 12 years of working experience in the audit and accounting profession. He has worked for international accounting firm Ernst & Young (Vietnam) as well as a state-owned audit firm. Lam’s involvements range from statutory annual financial statement audits and reviews, investment capital report audits and reviews, internal control reviews and consultations, and internal audit outsourcing. 
 
Lam is a Certified Public Auditor (Registered Auditor) and Certified Public Valuer (Registered Valuer) licensed by the Ministry of Finance Vietnam, and is a member of Vietnam Accountants Association (VAA) and Vietnam Association of Certified Public Auditor (VACPA).  He graduated with Master of Accounting and Audit, and bachelor degrees in Accounting and Audit and English Language. He is currently a PhD candidate in accounting and audit with the Ho Chi Minh Economic University.
 
Lam is also the Representative of the People’s Committee of 13th Ward, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.

 

 

 

Chau is a founding partner of VIETVALUES  Group. Before founding  , Chau worked for several years for international accounting firm KPMG where he was responsible for taxation and investment advisory services for multinational and large Vietnamese clients. He has also been involved in financial model reviews, tax reviews of financial statements, regulatory audits for reporting to the authorities of Vietnam and internal control reviews. He has also worked as an auditor with a state-owned audit firm for more than 5 years. 
 
Chau has many years of working experience in the audit and consulting profession.  He also has a lot of experiences on investment and financial consulting and providing the consultancy for equitisation in Vietnam.  Chau has a competent knowledge and experience on investment consultancy in the key industries including real estate, energy, mining, financial and banking sectors and capital market in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
 
He has passed mostly on examinations for Certified Appraiser of the Ministry of Finance Vietnam. Chau is a fellowship of Vietnamese Association of Accountants and Auditors HCMC – (VAA); Member of Vietnamese Association of Financial Investors (VAFI). Representative member for the firm at many other industry/professional associations.

 

 

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang
Executive Partner, VIETVALUES’s Assurance and Audit Services

 

Sang is a founding partner of VIETVALUES Group. Sang has over 15 years’ working experience in auditing and accounting profession. Prior to joining VIETVALUES, he worked for the State Audit Authority of Vietnam where he was responsible for the statutory audits of large state-owned enterprises. His experience includes statutory annual financial statements audits and reviews, investment capital report audits and reviews, internal control reviews and consultations and internal audit outsourcing. 
 
Sang is a Certified Public Auditor (Registered Auditor) and Certified Public Valuer (Registered Valuer) with the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam, and is a member of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Auditor (VACPA). He graduated with Master of Finance degree and Bachelor of Accounting degree. He also lectures accounting and auditing at Industry No.4 College, Engineering & Technology University of Ho Chi Minh City. 

 

Mr. Lim Chor Ghee
Partner, VIETVALUES’s International Desk & Consulting Services

 

Prior to joining VIETVALUES Group, Chor Ghee has more than 16 years of experience in corporate management and consulting. He was previously the vice president (legal & corporate affairs) for a public-listed multinational in Hong Kong, where he managed group corporate affairs for international business operations in more than 15 countries. He trained with Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse in his early career days.
 
A prolific speaker, Chor Ghee has delivered workshops and conferences in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He is also an associate professor with a university in Malaysia, and delivers international MBA programs in accounting and finance.
 
Chor Ghee is a member of the Academy of International Business (USA), CPA Australia, Malaysian Institute of Accountants (Registered Accountant) and Malaysian Institute of Taxation. He graduated with several degrees - Master of International Studies (University of Sydney), Master of Business Administration (Distinction)(Heriot Watt University, UK), Postgraduate Certificate in Electronic Business (University of Southern Queensland), and Bachelor of Commerce (University of Melbourne). He is currently undertaking his doctoral studies with the University of South Australia.

 

 

 

Mrs. Vu Thi Kim Anh
Partner, VIETVALUES’s Consulting Services

 

Mrs Anh is a founding partner of VIETVALUES Group.  She has over 30 years of working experience in auditing, accounting and the banking profession. Prior to joining VIETVALUES , she worked as the Chief Accountant and Deputy General Director in charge of finance for SAVIMEX.  She was a member of the Board of Management of SAVIMEX and also a member of the Board of Management of Development Housing Bank of Hochiminh City.
 
She specializes in tax and legal services, and manages the Financial Advisory Services and Investment & Corporate Services department in VIETVALUES. 
 
Mrs Anh is a Certified Public Auditor (Registered Auditor) with the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam and is a member of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Auditor (VACPA). She graduated with a Bachelor in Business (Banking) degree.

 

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien
Senior Manager, VIETVALUES’s Tax & Consulting Services

 

Lien has 14 years of working experience in audit, accounting and taxation. Prior to joining VIETVALUES, she worked as the Senior Auditor in a stated-owned auditing company for 7 years and as an Internal Auditor for Saigon Post. She has extensive experience in corporate and tax advisory, and the review of accounting and internal control system of large companies.
 
Lien is a Certified Public Auditor (Registered Auditor) with the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam and is a member of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Auditor (VACPA).
She graduated with Bachelor in Business (Banking) and Bachelor of Business Law degree.

 

Mr. Noel Solomon
Manager, VIETVALUES’s International Desk & Consulting Services

 

Noel has numerous years of experience in the finance and accounting industry as an Investment Analyst with an international financial institution in Malaysia. He has been covering Power, Oil & Gas and the Telecommunication industry. Noel has also taught accounting and finance at business colleges, and was involved as the Program Manager of a leading executive education provider in Malaysia before joining VIETVALUES Group. Besides consulting, he also manages the Training and Technical Department within VIETVALUES Group.
 
Noel graduated with a Degree in Economics from Monash University, Australia in 1992.

 

 

 

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh
Senior Manager, VIETVALUES’s Accounting Services

Linh has over 14 years of working experience in the auditing and accounting profession. Prior to joining VIETVALUES, she worked for the State Audit Authority of Vietnam where she was responsible for the statutory audits of large state-owned enterprises.

She has an extensive knowledge of the Vietnamese tax system and regulations on accounting and auditing in Vietnam. Her clients include large state-owned corporations, local enterprises and foreign invested projects in Vietnam. Her experience also includes preparing statutory financial statements, tax reports, setting up accounting and internal control system. She graduated with a Bachelor in Accounting degree.

Mrs. Do Huong 
Senior Advisor, VIETVALUES Group

Mrs Huong is a founding partner VIETVALUES Group. Mrs Huong has over 35 years of experience in the auditing and accounting profession, including over 10 years of corporate management experience at senior levels in large enterprises. She has also worked for the State Audit Authority of Vietnam where she was responsible for the statutory audit of large state-owned enterprises, and has been awarded a medal by the Ministry of Finance for her great contributions to the accounting and finance profession of Vietnam. She also lectured in accounting and finance at the National Institute of Administration for more than 10 years.

She is a Certified Public Auditor (Registered Auditor) licensed by the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam, and is a member of Vietnam Accountants Association (VAA) and Vietnam Association of Certified Public Auditor (VACPA). She graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree.

 

Mr. Tran Van Ham
Senior Advisor, VIETVALUES Group

Mr. Ham was the Director of the Office for Southern Vietnam Ministry of Finance, and has served as the Deputy Director for the State Audit Authority of Vietnam. He has extensive experience in the audit and finance profession, having served more than 35 years in various capacities at the senior level, including over ten years of corporate management experience.
Mr Ham has been awarded medals by the Ministry of Finance and the State Audit Authority for his great contributions to the accounting and audit profession in Vietnam. He also lectured in Accounting and Finance at the National Institute of Administration for 10 years. Mr Ham graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree.

 

 

Mr. Rafael Legaria
International Advisor, International Desk

Rafael’s international experience spans more than 30 years in over 100 countries. He has been involved in international development and investment projects for governments, international organizations and private sectors. His roles have included project negotiation, feasibility studies, developing project and business plans, cross-cultural management, quality control, and performance monitoring and evaluation systems.

In the 70s and 80s, he served as the Director of Canada World Youth, the Senior International Development Consultant for the Canadian government, and the Asia Regional Director for the Canadian Co-operative Association. Later, Rafael facilitated prominent joint ventures involving companies from Asia, North America and Europe in the field of natural resources, infrastructure development, constructions and agriculture. Since the mid 1990s, he has consulted for and operated businesses in organic minerals and nanotechnology for applications in agriculture, health and cosmetics.

Rafael speaks fluent English, Spanish and French.

 

Mr Rahman is the Chairman of the ARENCO Group, Bangladesh. ARENCO Group has diverse business interests ranging from import / export, trading and distribution of furniture and electronic home appliances, automobiles, gas service stations, education, professional training, and consulting. As a mark of recognition of his contribution to the consistent empowerment of private sector, he was elected in 1999 as the President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), which is Bangladesh’s largest and premier trade representative body. By virtue of this position he had the privilege to be inducted in different high powered Administrative and Consultative Committees, in the Board of Management of a number of Government Corporations and Autonomous Bodies and in several Government Delegations to various International Conferences and bilateral negotiations.
Mr. Rahman obtained his post-graduate degree in Economics.

 

Mr. Satish Kanodia

Satish Kanodia has been a practising Chartered Accountant for the last 30 years. He is an active member of the Bombay Chartered Accountants Society (Mumbai), the Western Regional Chapter of the International Fiscal Association (India Branch), and is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Satish graduated with Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Bombay.

He is Partner of Messrs M S M & Associates, Mumbai (India) a firm of Chartered Accountants of 26 years’ standing. The firm renders services in the field of auditing, taxation, foreign investment advisory, financial consultancy, valuations, company law, business matching and human resource development consultancy. Satish and his firm provide the full range of services for foreign corporations – including liaison office / branch / private company establishments, and the structuring of joint ventures and foreign collaborations.

 

Mr. Michael Heng

Michael is a partner of Heng Lee Seng & Co, an established professional firm in Singapore with more than 30 years standing. He has numerous years of experience in audit and consultancy since early 1990s. Along with traditional accounting and assurance functions, he is well-versed in business advisory, providing strategic planning, corporate health evaluation and reengineering services to multinational clients.
Michael Heng is a member of CPA Australia and a graduate of The University of Melbourne (B. Com). Michael is an active member of Institute of CPA Singapore, participates in its various committees and is a member of the Complaints and Disciplinary Panel appointed byThe Public Accountants Oversight Committee.

 

Mr. Samuel Lai
International Advisor, International Desk

Samuel Lai specialises in the areas of corporate planning, bonds and private debts structuring, company secretarial practice and tax compliance. Samuel is a partner of StanleyCo Consulting Group, an established professional firm in Malaysia. He services numerous multinational operating in the Asia Pacific region.

Professionally, he is a Chartered Accountant (Malaysia) and also a Certified Practising Accountant (Australia). Besides, he also qualifies as a Certified Financial Planner. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Southern Cross University and also a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance from Griffith University in Australia.

 

He is an active member in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants as well as CPA Australia. Besides serving as a member of Financial Planning Working Group of Malaysian Institute of Accountants, he is also an appointed Disciplinary Committee Panel Member of Advocate & Solicitors Disciplinary Board.
 

 
Mr. Lum graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) and Master of Commerce (Hons.) from the University of Melbourne . He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Finance. His consulting and academic interests are in quantitative risk analysis, risk management, and financial management and econometrics. He maintains close links with the regional finance industry and has frequently been invited and sponsored by organizers to chair and speak at various international conferences specializing in corporate financial risk management in Hong Kong , Singapore and Malaysia . He was invited by the organiser as a moderator in one of the Harvard Business School Executive Development series held in Kuala Lumpur in 2007.
